1. About CryptoPulse

CryptoPulse (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a free, ad-supported crypto trading and mining simulator for Android. Players receive virtual cash and practice trading and idle-mining mechanics using real-time market prices. All balances, coins, XP, ranks and rewards are virtual and have no monetary or real-world value.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why, and who it is shared with. It applies to the CryptoPulse Android application and this website.

2. Who we are

3. Data we collect

Because CryptoPulse involves no real accounts or payments, we keep data to a minimum. You are not asked to create an account or provide your name, email or any financial detail to play. The App and its service providers may process:

• Device & technical information — device model, operating system version, language, region, app version, and a mobile advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID).
• Approximate location — a coarse, country/region-level location derived from your IP address (not precise GPS location).
• Usage & game events — anonymous, aggregated in-app events such as screens viewed, features used, and ad interactions, used to improve the game.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data if the App misbehaves.
• Advertising data — information needed to show ads and measure them (including your advertising identifier and ad interactions), handled by our ad partner.
• Attribution data — information used to measure which ad or link led to an install.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details, government identifiers, contacts, photos, precise location, or any real trading, deposit or withdrawal data — none of these exist in the App.

4. Who we share data with

To run a free, ad-supported game we rely on trusted service providers. They process data as described below under their own privacy policies:

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public.

5. Our own analytics backend

Alongside the providers above, the App sends install, advertising and product analytics to servers we operate ourselves (gollum.cryptopulsegame.app). This data is not shared with a third party — we are both the controller and the processor for it.

What we receive:

• an app-generated install identifier;
• device and technical information (model, operating system, language, region, time zone, screen size, app version);
• your advertising identifier — only if you consent to ad storage;
• the Google Play install referrer and its campaign parameters;
• your consent choices;
• identifiers used to reconcile records (AppsFlyer ID, Firebase app instance ID, Android App Set ID);
• the in-app events listed below;
• the revenue an ad network reports for each ad impression.

In-app events we record: onboarding completed, first trade, trade, daily reward claimed, rewarded ad watched, achievement unlocked, notification posted, notification opened, and session start. They describe how the simulator is used and contain no real financial data.

We do not store your raw IP address — it is reduced to country/region when a request arrives. Analytics and advertising events are sent only if you consent to analytics; the advertising identifier is sent only if you consent to ad storage. To have the data linked to your install identifier deleted, contact privacy@cryptopulsegame.app.

6. Advertising & your consent

CryptoPulse is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Where required by law (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), the App uses Google's consent mechanism (UMP) to ask for your choice before showing personalized ads. You can:

• Choose non-personalized ads instead of personalized ads;
• Change or withdraw your consent at any time from the App's settings;
• Reset or limit ad tracking through your device's advertising settings.

Some ads are rewarded — entirely optional videos you may watch to receive a virtual bonus. You are never required to watch them to keep playing. Ads may be provided by Google and its partner ad networks; their use of data is governed by their policies.

7. How we use data

• To run the game and its features (including saving your virtual progress on your device);
• To show and measure ads that keep the game free;
• To understand, in aggregate, how the game is used so we can improve it;
• To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems;
• To measure marketing (which ad or link led to an install);
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

8. Legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for personalized advertising and any non-essential analytics; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the game and measuring marketing; and legal obligation where the law requires. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

9. Data retention

Your virtual game progress is stored on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data. Data held by our service providers is retained according to their own policies and only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. Residents of Hong Kong have rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO); residents of the EU/UK have rights under the GDPR; and residents of certain US states have rights under applicable state privacy laws.

To exercise any right, contact us (section 14). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Hong Kong, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).

11. Children

CryptoPulse is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Security

We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the limited data the App processes.

13. International transfers

Our service providers (including Google and AppsFlyer) may process data in countries other than yours, including outside Hong Kong and the EU/UK. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
